Tech Lead & Partner, builder, dad of two, working from Ghent, Belgium.
I grew up as a digital native, building whatever I could on a computer. Turbo Pascal was my first real programming playground, ColorDraw my early canvas, and FruityLoops my introduction to making music digitally. That curiosity carried me into software development roles across companies and agencies, then into freelancing at the moment mobile took over the world.
In 2014 I became co-owner of Next Apps, and later joined forces with several agencies in the marketing technology group 62MILES. In June 2026 the group and its agencies rebranded as Brigada, where I'm Tech Lead & Partner today.
AI is reshaping what individuals and small teams can pull off, and I'm convinced we're just scratching the surface. I experiment a lot, break things often, and enjoy the thrill of figuring out what this new wave makes possible.
At home, life is joyfully chaotic. I have a wonderful girlfriend and two young boys who keep sleep scarce and perspectives grounded. I love traveling, I pretend I still have time for CrossFit and running, and I hold a not-so-secret ambition to revive my long-dormant piano and dancing days.
In 2026 I picked up 3D printing and quickly fell down the rabbit hole. I now spend my evenings designing solutions to existing and non-existing problems around the house.
Build, learn, iterate, repeat.
Enjoy the ride, even when it's moving fast.
