Answer Pilot WordPress plugin for AI search visibility.

Most SEO tools focus on Google, but a meaningful chunk of search has shifted to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude in the last two years. There's no built-in rank tracker for those. The dedicated tools that exist cost €49 to €199 a month, and most of that price is just LLM tokens you could buy directly for under a euro.

Answer Pilot is the bring-your-own-API-key version. You paste a Perplexity API key into the settings, list the keywords you care about and the brand you want to track. The plugin runs the queries on a schedule, parses the response, and stores whether your brand was mentioned, in the text or in the cited sources. Nothing leaves your site except the call to Perplexity, billed straight to your account. Under €1 a month for a small site.

The plugin also covers the rest of the AI-readiness checklist: a generator for the proposed llms.txt standard, logs of which AI crawlers actually hit your site (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and sixteen others), a robots.txt check that flags AI bots blocked by security plugins, per-post content scoring for AI extractability, and FAQ schema auto-emitted from question-style headings. All of that is free.

A Pro tier (€7/month or €69/year) adds OpenAI and Anthropic alongside Perplexity, daily auto-runs, competitor tracking with a share-of-voice table, and email alerts when a keyword starts or stops citing you. An Agency tier (€29/month or €290/year) covers unlimited client sites. The free version stays fully functional whether you upgrade or not — Pro is additive, not a teaser. Licenses are keys verified offline in the plugin: no phone-home, no account, and they keep working until they expire even if my server disappears.
